Electronic Firing Systems for Fireworks
Electronic firing is, without a doubt, a crucial step in taking your display from mediocre to marvelous. Not only does it allow you to fire off multiple cues simultaneously, but you have the freedom of watching your display from a safe distance. On this page, we will post some ideas and plans for you to get started with electronic firing. It starts with a simple nail-board, requiring little else than a piece of wood, some nails, wire, and a 9 volt battery. But you can take it to whatever level you want.
Below are some pictures and descriptions of a remote firing system I built last summer. It has the capability to cue up 120 fireworks, test continuity before you start your show, and ensure that you are well out of range of a low firing mortar. Look around and see if there is anything you might try tinkering with. If you have any questions, feel free to send an email. See our contact page for more details. Have fun!
